Growing up in Moscow, my sense of order and beauty was influenced by the exposure to the modern and classical art and architecture that was easily accessible in the cultural center of Russia.  While still at school, I had a chance to try my hand at different arts: drawing, painting, sculpture, and garment making. I also studied Lacquer Miniature, a traditional form of art derived from icon painting.

As is happens, my first three years of college education in Moscow were in medical field - an odd choice, that was mostly influenced by the economic situation in the disintegrating country.

I came to the United States first as an exchange student, and then remained, eventually gaining my citizenship.  As soon as was possible, I resumed my academic career - first receiving a transfer degree at Skagit Valley College, with the goal of enrolling in an architecture program.

I received my BArch (Magna Cum Laude), 2012, and MArch, 2015, at the University of Washington. During my years at school, I interned at HKP Architects in Mount Vernon, WA.

Shortly after my graduation, I joined the team of atelierjones, LLC in Seattle, WA, were I work presently. For more information, please visit https://www.atelierjones.com/.
